I am playing Winter Sports

 We fly East to Beijing to introduce the winter Olympics competition, a different country and an international context. There’s scope to open the children’s eyes to new places, cultures and sports. Broaden their understanding of the world, from the mountain and ice habitats, animals living in cold environments, to what to wear and how to survive. Throw in some history; the beginning of the Olympics, ice skating on the River Thames, polar explorers, well-known athletes and the development of skis and snow vehicles. It’s time to get active and celebrate!
